International
Key Club International encompasses all clubs within the group’s 33 organized districts. Key Club International is led by its international board, which is comprised of a president, vice president and 11 trustees, all students and active Key Club members. District A District is sometimes defined by state or nation and tends to match a similar Kiwanis District. Our District is the Pacific Northwest District which spans from Western Canada to Northern California: with Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and the pan-handle of Idaho in between. Division Each District is divided into territories called divisions, made up of various clubs. Each division has a lieutenant governor, a student leader who carries out the district’s policies and provides support for the clubs. We represent Division 21 which includes Edmonds-Woodway, Glacier Peak, Mariner, Kamiak, Lynnwood, Terrace, and many other schools! Our division mascot is the Bumblebee. Our lieutenant governor for 2021-2022 year is Thien Nguyen of Mariner High School. Club Key Clubs are established in a high school or equivalent institution, or a community-based club may be chartered. Elected officers can include president, one or more vice presidents, secretary, treasurer, editor and one adult advisor. Our advisor is our own ESL teacher, Mrs. Kirby! |
